Trudy Cowan keeps our history alive.
She led educational programming for the Glenbow Museum, oversaw the transformation of Fort Calgary from an abandoned rail yard to a bustling interpretive centre and served as Executive Director of the Lougheed House Conservation Society.
An educator at heart, she has written eight books about Calgary’s history as well as creating and staging one-woman “In-person-ations” of Nellie McClung and Emily Carr for audiences from Ontario to BC.
