Project Description

Kaillie Humphries pushed hard to achieve her goals. A competitive downhill skier during her teens, she took up bobsledding in 2002 after breaking both legs in crashes. A two-time world champion, Kaillie won Olympic gold twice in the two-woman bobsled in 2010 and 2014, and that year was the first woman to compete against men in international four-man bobsled competition. Off the bobsled track she advocates against bullying and for the Special Olympics and Right to Play – supporting sports for underprivileged children.
