Vice Dean of the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary, Glenda MacQueen’s studies focus on mental health, addiction and brain health. Her work explores the potential of various treatments to prevent or reverse changes in the brain and thought processes brought on by depression and bipolar disorder. In addition to working with a residential treatment facility for women with addictions in Calgary, Dr. MacQueen sits on the board of the Palix Foundation which explores the connection between addiction and brain function in children.
