YW Calgary is dedicated to supporting women and their families through programs and services like shelter, counselling, childcare, language instruction and employment support. Our mission is to intervene, empower and lead where and when women need us most. Our team brings together expertise from diverse backgrounds to give our clients the help and advocacy they need during times of crisis or transition and ongoing support as they work towards their goals.

Volunteers are an integral part of the community and YW Calgary thanks each and every volunteer for their commitment to our mission and vision. In 2019, 132 volunteers contributed more than 3,900 hours to support women and their families at YW Calgary.
After a pause to our volunteer program during the pandemic we are getting ready to welcome you back into our facilities and programs!
