For International Women’s Day 2022, YW Calgary presented four notable speakers during The Walrus Leadership Forum: Fuelling the She-covery virtual event. Over 600 people tuned in for a discussion on the She-covery and what Canadians are doing to ensure women, who experienced higher risk of personal and professional disruption during the pandemic, will emerge from this pandemic stronger. Passing the $10 a day childcare legislation, focusing on bringing women back into the workforce and adapting workplaces to meet today’s needs is a start – but is it enough?
